Wireless motility capsule (SmartPill)

The patient swallows a small, electronic pill that is designed to measure gastric emptying time. As it travels through the digestive system, the pill relays information to a receiver that the patient wears on their belt or around their neck. After a couple of days, the patient returns to clinic and the information from their receiver will be downloaded to a computer for analysis.
